Hibiscus is an annual in our temperate climate.  I tried to get her to start from seed for three years with zero luck and finally in 2020 I got a crop.  She prefers moderately rich, well-drained soil in full sun.  Flowering to 36-42” and spacing plants about 24” apart.  She is very tender and should be the last transplant you put in your garden, late May or early June.
