Elecampane is an herbaceous perennial that will not flower until the second year and usually not harvested for medicine until the third year.  Well worth the wait.  She grows well in the understory of a tree or in partial sun.  Moist soil and mulch are her friends.  Flowering to 5-6’ and 3’ wide.
