Fennel is a beautiful ferny herbaceous perennial that likes average soil, moderate water, and a bit of mulch around her base.  The first year she will get about 36” tall, the second year expect her to shoot up to 5-6’.  Pollinators and honeybees are always hanging around her umbel flower heads.
